Note to anyone interested in 3D animation.

Do not use the "Maya 8 Character Modeling" book by Gary Oliverio to rig your character. It is a decent modeling book, but not for rigging. It totally messed up my character and forced me to come up with really crappy work-arounds. But most importantly, it wasted ALOT of time during the last semester. My teacher recommended the book before actually reading it. Then she felt stupid... 

I am surprised to see more people watching this than Low Battery. Yeah the problems are more than just the cosmetic. The lighting never reached perfect. It was supposed to look washed out but not too much. The movie is a little too washed out and it is not like the streaming video is helping. It was supposed to look like a dream. The major problems I had were with the rig actually. I tried to hide it as much as possible but the rig is terrible.

My only problem is with the lighting, it's a bit too washed out. I hope you finish it, it's quite nice.

cool animation. i see that this is a 'WIP'. good that you are conveying a story (the most important part of any animation)

What was in the box??!! maybe i'll get it later. anyway, very cool animation, I'd like to see it when you perfect it.

nicee work , im asuming the "not come out like I had planned" part is referring to the lighting. Everything else is great, nice work:) And good job "everything was produced by me"
